Cross-cultural understanding & making connections

Many students find that making meaningful connections with their peers can be difficult, especially when faced with cultural differences. This interactive workshop will teach you ways to understand cross-cultural communication in a Canadian context, as well as how to make connections with others and build positive relationships. Participants will have the opportunity to practice communication strategies throughout the workshop. This session is ideal for international or Canadian students who wish to make friends and relationships with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
